Success?

Updated: Oct 30, 2019

So basically; success? What does this mean? How do we attain this? Is it a state of being? Is it a characteristic? How do we get that? And when we do have it; what do we do with it?

A lot of us are kind of in the middle of learning what success means. To some it means how much can I do or be good at. To some it means, you know the phrase, “how can I be happy?” Is it important to be successful? And if so how can I be that?

Sooo many questions. I know. I will try to answer the majority in the article below. If I don’t answer all of them here there will be another blog post to continue on the search.

The state a lot of people seem to get stuck in (for some time), is that of questioning. What is success? In order to know that my research stand point is like this: not to focus on what this particle word means “to me” but what does it actually mean.

My approach is really that of a fact finder, problem solver kind of deal. I don’t care about all the wish-washy-ness. I care to know what is right. Maybe this outlook is rare. I know this; it’s who I am and what I’m all about. Because of the way I take in information, that of excepting and processing information, I hope to make it clear, cut and dry,(simple,) to explain what success could truly be.

I, legitimately, screenshotted the definition of “success.”

Here is the definition I came across:

The common denominator between the three definitions, listed here, are:

•Accomplish

•Attain

•Achieve(prosper)

•Purpose

All of these, aside from “purpose,” are actually all synonyms of each other. In other words, they all have a similar meaning. You could use one in place of the other.

Before we move on. Who is the accomplishment, attainment and achievement for? You. Remember this as we move forward. Another, worth of note taking, would be purpose. You have to have a purpose, an end goal, to strive to meet.

Then I took a look at where the word derived from, where it came from, to find the reason the word was created.

In other words we are all trying to come close to and a attain a certain thing. Maybe this is rudimentary. However simple this may seem there is a point coming because once you, not only understand, but have a revelation of a certain meaning you become awakened to THE PURPOSE of how to obtain information, use that knowledge and achieve that goal. Whatever it is you need to do you can do it because you know how.

Success is the process of a journey, taking us closer to the PURPOSE in our life. When you have a purpose it makes it that much easier to achieve.

It sounds like to me, success can be a purpose-finder for people in and of itself. You want to be successful. Figure out what purpose is out there. Some people have searched all over, have sacrificed blood, sweat and tears to complete a goal that wasn’t their’s. In turn they have sacrificed for something, not that at the stand point of success for them, but that of the requirement or desire someone else held above them and implied, “Reach this or you’re not worth it.” “Do this and you will have arrived.” Arrived at what? I ask you. At what cost? I say to you. For this reason I say. May your search for your purpose be driven by One entity who already knows what potential in you to complete a purpose you never knew you were capable of having.

The reason I love writing this blog is to help others. How can I help you know you are worth it? How can I express to YOU, you’ve got this and you will get through. You won’t just make it through this fight but you WILL be successful, and come to know victory! You will know the taste of victory over these things that have put you down for so long!

People are so caught up in being successful. When they don’t even know what it means! Looking at the research set before you, what sparks something in you? In me it sparked the knowledge of how my attainment of “some thing” isn’t what defines success. You define what success is to you by attaining what you need for a fulfilled life. That is where people get hung up. They may hit the breaks and think, “what’s my purpose?” And mainly, “what am I supposed to be achieving?” I Can’t you to see something you don‘t, especially when all you see is the problem right now. It’s staring you in the face. This much I do know. Seek where you haven’t searched before and you will find an answer you would have never known. Guess what?

The bible says I’m Matthew 6:32-33, “32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

We were created by God. He designed us to want companionship and a purpose.

God allows us to seek everywhere. So while you have searched the earth and found no relief to your pain, I humbly ask you give this a try. If the Bible can guide us in how to eat and how to pray, I can surely tell you there is a purpose and a way. You can always just look up and ask God for what you need. You may find purpose a way you never thought you would.
