Never Too Far Gone

By: Erika St. Gelais

God still loves us no matter the circumstance or what we have done.

You are never too far from the love of God. You, right now and at this moment, are not far from the loving arms of Jesus.

You can be broken or depressed, sad or oppressed, or sick and in pain, and God is still there. So, you need to also be still there. Being a Christian doesn’t just mean walking after Christ, but it really means being Christ-like, being a reflection of a loving God. Reflecting God can be as simple as being still when He is still. Patiently praying and waiting for Him to move in that situation because, “even when I don’t see it He’s working.” This is part of one of my favorite songs called Miracle Worker By Sinach.

Even when the circumstance seems like is has gone completely out of control, we can have faith in a God who comes through. I trust in a God who is a deliverer, a healer, my shield and strong tower, and my God who is all those things, can be glorified in even the worst situations. What do I mean by this? What is the purpose of God’s glorification?

Well first off the fact that God can be glorified means God’s strength will be shown when you fall short and your weakness is shown. When you are weak He is strong. 2nd Corinthians 12:10, “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” Then second the purpose of God’s glorification can be one of many things but a few of those reasons are these:

-So that people will know the goodness of God who cares for His people and takes care of those committed to Him.

-to show the mercy of God, God still loves us and helps us through situations even when we don’t deserve it.

We may have made the most mistakes of anyone out there in this world but God still loves you. You may think you are too far gone. You may think you are too dirty for God to wash away your sin, but you are mistaken. Jesus died so that you may live.

2 Corinthians 5:15-17

“15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

We may have to endure some uncomfortable situations. You may have to endure some difficult situations but God can help you through. God will help you through. No one can help you like Jesus can. No one can reach you how Jesus can reach you.

He can do what no one else can. There is none greater, stronger or better than Him.

So no matter the situation don't be discouraged there is an answer to your problem and you nor your situation is too far gone from the Lord that He can't help you.
