Life Fulfilled and Purposeful Living

This section of Joshua chapter 1 and verses 3-9 really depicts the purpose God has for your life. Joshua 1:3-9 says,

“I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you ... No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous ... Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.

Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’” (NLT)

The last post that I wrote was about progress. It was called “A Work in Progress.” This piece of Joshua tells so much with so little words. Sometimes the answer we are looking for is such a profound answer but not so hard to find. Profound yet simple. Really the Lord has good things for you. I really felt to write this this morning for someone. The Lord is reaching out to someone today to say to you, “Go do my work and I will supply your need as you go, wherever you go.” There is a scripture in Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” To go along with that Deuteronomy 31:6 says,

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (NKJV)

Living for God doesn’t always have to be a struggle. When we are worshipping God and in the presence of God He can heal our hurt, mend our brokenness. Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? (NKJV)

God is our strength and the light of our life, salvation to our soul and God can answer your prayer. He can give you the words to speak to lost and the hurting, the broken and oppressed. So thank you for reading. I just really felt that someone needed a word of encouragement today. I hope you enjoyed reading. Just know that you can live a life fulfilled and filled of joy in God. You can abound in Christ today.
