If there is one thing I know about God is that He is an intentional God. There is nothing and no one that He will put in your life without a purpose. There is a rhyme and a reason for what God does. You may think, "But my life is so hard right now. Why did God allow this?" However, He placed that situation in your life because He intended that situation to shape you like clay in His hands. This is a metaphor most of us have heard and understand. One thing we can do to help our situation is remain flexible and understanding to the fact that God allows times in our lives of joy but also of sadness and hardship. A phrase I say quite often is, "If we can't make it in the easy times then how can we endure the difficult times?" Without training from the Most High (God), then how could we be prepared to face the reality of the plain hardships of this world. In Matthew 11 at the last few verses of the chapter it talks about how God's yoke is easy and His burden is light and to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. There is nothing like freedom in Jesus' name and no one can change us like Jesus can. Allowing God to have the difficult and enter in the freedom of sin and shame and guilt and pain we must lay our troubles down at the feet of the cross. God took on our sin at the cross so we wouldn't have to struggle to have freedom. I encourage you today to talk to Jesus about your problem. God hears you, and He alone understands completely where you are coming from like no one else can. God is intentional and if we allow ourselves to be shaped by Him we will become the masterpiece He designed us to be. Intentional, as defined by google, is this, "done on purpose; deliberate."
God is deliberate about what situations He gives us because He knows not just what weight we can bear but what weight He bore on the cross. He paid it all so that you may live and have life abundantly in Him. He can bear the weight of your situation. You don't have to do this alone. What can a person do in an impossible situation? They can pray to the miracle working God, who is Jesus, therein finding purpose in life, encouragement in struggle and an answer to their questions. So here is just a word of encouragement today! I hope this was encouraging and helpful. Feel free to leave comments and message me with questions.
